Supporting the Newman Center

There are many ways you can support and grow the ministries of the Newman Center.  The Center is financially independent of the Diocese of Davenport and relies 100% on your generosity. A video overview of our Ministries can be viewed through the link in the left navigation column.

Your gifts can support the on-going operations of the Center, or you may wish to designate your gift toward a specific student ministry.

Giving Opportunity

Make your contribution easy!  You may give by credit card online now or complete the credit card form and return it to the office..  To initiate direct debit, please complete the direct debit form and return it with a copy of a voided check to the office.

You may also download the current Development Brochure which gives more detailed information.

Please also consider gifts of

  • Stock
  • Property
  • in-kind services
  • bequests
  • life insurance

If your employer provides matching gifts, you may wish to consider a donation to a Newman Center specific fund at the University of Iowa Foundation.  Gifts to the UI Foundation on behalf of the Newman Center are eligible for all UI Foundation gift recognition programs.  You can meet your giving goals while designating your support for Catholic students at the University of Iowa!

Volunteers are also a critical part of the Center.  Please consider sharing your time and talents with us as well!  Contact Fr. Ed Fitzpatrick if you are interested.
